These classes take place at Windy Hill Sports Complex, which is only 1 mile west of rte. 288 on Midlothian Turnpike.

Our golf professionals are among the finest instructors in Virginia. They’re passionate, seasoned leaders in the sport with innovative strategies to get you or your kids hooked on golf. They know how to teach the game, make it fun and improve the skills of the students. Whether you’re new or want to improve and reach your golf potential, we guarantee you’ll have a ball!

If you don’t have clubs, we’re happy to provide clubs for our classes, until you’re ready to purchase. We also offer a club with a training grip, for $19.95 so you can practice. Or use our trade up program to keep your children in clubs that fit. When they out grow the clubs, we give you money back towards the purchase of the next size up.

FREE INSTRUCTIONAL YOUTH CLINIC
1 Hour clinic for youths ages 7-17 on basic golf set up and swings. Please call Windy Hill directly to register 794-0010. There is a $8 charge for the range balls. Saturday March 6, 2pm-3pm.

PGA CLUBS FOR KIDS
1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from March-June, stop by Windy Hill’s Pro Shop to receive a free used cut down Junior club for your child.

Weekly Programs

Rookie Program
Saturdays 2-3 PM Fee: $80
This class is open to children ages 7-17, with little or no experience. Four, 1 hour sessions. Clubs, range balls and valuable coupons will be provided to all students. If your child has their own clubs, they are welcome to use them. Grip, stance and posture will be taught for irons, woods and short game. This is a great review for children in need of a “tune up” on their fundamentals. Sign up early this class normally fills up quickly.

The next step, Intermediate class
Saturday 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM Fee $80
This clinic is for the golfer who wants to take his or her game to the next level. Open to Juniors 7-17 years of age, with some experience (not much but some). Want to improve your fundamentals and learn how to be consistent? We will be building greatness upon existing foundations. Specifically designed to help you develop and improve your swing. This program also helps you develop a positive attitude, instructs you on course management, rules and proper etiquette or the game.

Mini & Masters Camp
Windy Hill is excited to offer half & full day summer camps for 2010. The program is offered to boys and girls ages 7-17. These camps will accommodate golfers with varying skill levels. The program consists of 5 days from 9 AM - 12 PM or 9 AM - 4 PM, with the right mix of instruction and course time.
The Mini Masters (9 AM - 12 PM) will emphasize skill building for full swing, short game and putting.
The Masters (9 AM - 4 PM) campers will experience extensive training on both the Par 3 and the Lake Course. This experience will prepare them to broaden their horizons for future play on an array of local golf courses. Lunch will be provided every day. Please send a snack of choice for the afternoon session.

Pee-Wee Camp s Fee: $60
Designed for juniors ages 4-6, this camp teaches the basics of the golf swing and playing the game. Pee-Wees will practice on our Pee-Wee golf range and play on their own Pee-Wee golf course.

3-Day Golf Camp Fee: $90
This camp features three 2-hour golf sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We have added some Saturday dates for 2010. Perfect for the new golfer or the child with some experience, this camp will teach juniors full swing with woods/irons, short game, rules, etiquette, and course management.There will be fun games and skill contest with prizes for all. Juniors will receive a gift bag with a PGA Certificate, Par 3 and Lake Course pass, ice cream treats and lunch on Friday.

Adult-YOUTH CLINIC
Fee: $150 per 2 players. Adult-Junior combined. Would you like to spend more time with your Junior Golfer? Tired of your junior golfer beating you on the course? Why not work it out together by signing up for a game improving golf clinic. The bonus is while you get better at golf you spend quality time together. In four weeks we will cover the short game of chipping, pitching, putting and the full swing with woods and irons.
All classes will be taught by qualified and enthusiastic LPGA and or PGA Golf Professionals. Sign up early, space is limited.

We have a great GROW OUT PROGRAM;

when your child grows out of the set of clubs you purchased, we will take them back on trade in towards the next length. 

This makes it possible for your golfer to always play with well fitted equipment to prevent injury to their body as well as their swing.
